Under-21 members are required to affiliate with the Francophone Ju-Jitsu Federation. Here’s how to complete this mandatory process to validate their insurance.
Medical Check-Up
It is essential to schedule a medical check-up with your family doctor at the start of each season (before September 30) or at the start of the year (before January 31), depending on the subscription start date. If the subscription started mid-season, the federal affiliation must be completed within 15 days of the subscription start date. After this deadline, the member will no longer be insured and will not be allowed to participate in sessions until the process is completed.
Federal Affiliation Form
The federal affiliation form must be completed with the member’s information and signed by the doctor on both stubs. This document is essential to ensure accident coverage during sessions. You can find it on our website by following this link.
To prevent documents from being misplaced or handed over directly to a coach, all FFJJ license forms must now be scanned as a PDF and sent to the following email address: licence@vanguardbjj.be
NO PAPER DOCUMENTS will be retained or sent anymore. Similarly, forms sent via private messages on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or Discord will no longer be processed, as well as paper forms.
Insurance and Participation in Sessions
Members who are not in order with their federal affiliation will not be insured against accidents and, as a result, will not be allowed to participate in sessions until the process is finalized.
